I think it sounds good.
It's always been a slight fantasy of mine to sneak in and hear what people have in their headphones...this ad captures that feel.
I love the sense of scale as well.

I used to work on the MTV website and these ads annoyed the hell out of me when they appeared. And yes very Tokyo Plastic 'inspired'
