A nice piece of work, with a relevant message tied into the interaction.

Pure thought, executed with aplomb. Banners done how they should be.

Positive comment for a positive piece of work.

Really strong piece. Would have been interesting to see it actually reflect the time on the viewer's own computer. All around, still very impressive.

So simple. I love it.

Marcelo,

The Nivea banner blows away the Avon banner. The executions are even close. Kudos to Africa Propoganda.

It starts out on the user's own computer time. It's when you flip it around that it becomes some other time.

This is just a fancier version of Avon's banner. It's a rip off. It doesn't matter whether it's a more complex execution. The Avon banner was simpler. This seems like an excuse for user interaction & interactive eye candy.

Agreed. Also, if am not mistaken, the Avon banner was shortlist in cannes last year right?

This idea was created in july, 2006, before the peace for Avon, but it was posted later at bannerblog.

C´mon, guys. It´s the same, SAME idea of Avon banner. The execution it´s a little bit different.

Although the idea for this is great I think it missed on a few crucial elements.

1. There is no branding until user interaction. At the very least if they had the text backwards it would help the brand.
2. No call to action to inform users to rollover.
3. Took a bit to load and all I saw was the dots, and would have moved on to read the content of the page I was visiting.

I think Smart pixels is a client hehehehehhe Don't know anything about create a great Ad.
If the this Ad had these 3 elements, the idea wasn't the same.

The cool thing in a awesome banner like that is, discover everything by yourself !
Don't talk bullshit !
