The UpperStorey seeks Senior Art Director
Company Description The Upper Storey is an award-winning Singapore based digital agency that produces interactive marketing campaigns, animations and mobile content for some of the world’s most successful brands. We are looking for talented professionals who believe that they’re a cut above the rest. You've been working in an interactive agency as a Senior Designer for at least 3 years or as an Art Director for at least a year. You think it's time for a move... You're moving because you believe that The Upper Storey is going places, and because you want to be a part of this exciting journey. You're frequently told that you're a very talented and meticulous designer but you already knew that! However, you also believe that you have a strong understanding of marketing communications and how to align visual concepts with campaign objectives. You've got these fresh and meaningful creative ideas, but you need to be in an agency that gives you a platform to express them on a global level. Having said that, you know the difference between being an artist and a commercial designer – as fine as the line may be. You've had some level of experience managing a team of designers. You've been working with Photoshop and Illustrator and for so long, you know most of the shortcuts. You're pretty strong in Flash and perhaps After Effects too. You're a thinker and you articulate your thoughts and ideas very well. You have a good command of English, written and spoken. You have a good eye for typography and little details. You're fast and you appreciate clean design and layout. You can work independently when necessary and are very mature and disciplined. You're able to work under pressure and you enjoy the challenge of meeting tight deadlines. You understand that these are attributes that will enable you to achieve true greatness.
