Speaking of really annoying auto sound banners* here is one that's running this weekend for the Fox horror film "The Hills Have Eyes".

This is part of the "teaser" phase, which always reminds me of the girls in highscool. Here's another bloody ad from the same camapign. The fake blood we made up looked good enough to eat.

*In our defence we did add a "sound off" button.

This looks good but there is no real idea - it could also be for any movie horror movie that has ever been made.

I think the notion of a "teaser" implies the desire to find out more through building intreague and I just don't see that in this either.

Valid coments

I guess our "idea" was to show as little as possible from the movie ie mutants and to capture fans interested in horror movies by dangling the diefirst.com.au URL under their noses and letting their curiosity propel them to find out more. The film has no franchise behind it and while is a remake of a classic horror film they wanted to capture younger horror fans who probably haven’t seen the original.
