A nice piece for Altoids, we have seen the microphone tricks before, but this really connects this function with the taste of the product.
Mmmmmm. Another banner ad using the micro phone. I'm really not sure this is the correct and most effective environment to use this flash technology. I don't know what sites this really got served to but that prompt is gonna pop up for everyone who sees that banner, and we all know what the general web viewing public think of popups. It is after all a banner and your asking a hell of a lot for people to interact with it.

Having some troubles to view this ad. The flashbanner asks if i want to access my microphone. After doing so still the only thing i see is a the guy staring at me.
Anyone able to tell me what will happen. (I'm using mac and Firefox).
I kinda agree with Chris, about how effective this kind of technology in banners is, although the flash approval window sure gets my attention ;)

Hi Floris,
Click close, then agree, and then blow into your computers microphone to see the interaction.

I have the same problem as Floris, using Windows XP with either FireFox or IE 6.0 or 7.something

I've seen a few banner executions where it still had interaction in case you don't have a mic. I wish they all did. Outside of this site (or a huge media buy) I'm not likely to see an ad one more than once even if i wanted to go back.

I don't like the idea of advertisers listening to me but this computer doesn't have a mic anyways.
