These banners are an adaptation of the Rogue game site.
The ads might have been more intriguing if I had not seen the site before. I think it may have been of more value to have the ads push users to the site where the they may be more immersed in the environment opposed to playing a game while trying to read the news. Still for a banner ad they got a lot of content and interactions stuffed in there.
very nicely done. The one criticism that I have is that the interaction is based on mouse movement - more than once, I accidentally moused out of the expander bounding box and the ad closed. I think gameplay (and therefore your message) may be strengthened by changing the interaction to the keypad or somehow pinning the expander open until the user is done. Quite an accomplishment nonetheless.

I'm getting a flash plugin error out of Mozilla 2.0:
TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.

These are custom function calls to work with the EyeWonder rich media functionality. Because the Flash is not being served with the EyeWonder JavaScript file, some of these calls may cause an error.

Nice adaption to the tv spot. Love the beginning, but not a big fan of the buttons and the type treatment.

Incredible use of Papervision. Very impressive for an expandable unit banner.
