This ad is for "lommelegen" in Norway, which are doctors with expertise in eating disorders. A great simple and smart ad.
I think its a shame the cursor is magnified as opposed to just larger. it doesn't convey the idea very well.

I'm sorry but I think this is an example of being 'clever' over communicating well. This ad made me laugh out loud! And I'm not sure that is the effect it's supposed to have had? I think there is much richer emotional territory they could have explored than some predictable cursor trickery. But... oh well.

Yes I agree. The line reads 'A distorted self image' so you would kinda expect something more emotive than just the cursor magnified. The idea is there, its just not been thought through entirely.

I disagree. I think this is a great ad that gets the idea across in a light yet effective way, without having to scare people with strong images, for example.
The objective of the banner is just to get your attention, not to change the way you think about a subject.
The idea is brilliant, I love the execution... i do agree with some of the other comments: the hand's reflection should show the fingertips since it is supposed to be showing the opposite side of the hand.

I like the idea! But shouldn't the mirrored hand be ehm fliped/mirrored?

I think this is cool. Rob - it's showing up as it should. It wouldn't make any sense if it was flipped.

It's brilliant, I'd be stoked if I did that.
